For the 2011, the month of March saw the largest number of bankruptcy filings at 1,881. November was the month with the lowest number of filings with 1,365.
While bankruptcies filings decreased by -2.6% for Orange County, the surrounding areas saw larger decreases. In Los Angeles County filings were down -4.3%, and San Bernandino/Riverside Counties saw filings decrease by -6.4%.
Nationwide, bankruptcy filings were down by -11%.
